“To live in peace and harmony with others, you must find peace and harmony within your own soul” — Illens Dort
The world around us can seem to be in commotion. There are wars and rumors of wars. Natural disasters continue to happen. Human suffering is escalating. One may ask how can one live in peace and harmony while there is so much turbulence and commotion in the world? The simple answer is that one needs to find ways to live in peace and harmony with oneself. You can’t live in peace and harmony with people around you if you can’t live in peace and harmony with yourself. This peace and harmony must be inside you.
I want to share some insights on how I try to live in peace and harmony with myself.
Ø I know there is a greater plan. This life is a probationary state. It is not the beginning of our existence. It is not the end of our existence.
Ø I connect daily with higher source of power – The Prince of Peace.
Ø I forgive anyone who may have offended me.
Ø I seek forgiveness from those that I may have offended.
Ø I try to make restitution for my wrong doings.
Ø I cultivate an attitude of gratitude and a spirit of humility.
Ø I cherish an abundant life.
Ø I try to find joy in all my circumstances.
Ø I take time to contemplate and appreciate the beauty of this earth
Ø I value people.
Ø I try to find ways to add value to people.
Ø I love and respect life.
I would love to hear your inputs on what you do daily to live in peace and harmony.

Tanya Hale “I love this and all of the things you do to find peace. A few things I do are to get up early to have some quiet and alone time in prayer and the scriptures and then I exercise. I also listen to inspirational talks while I’m getting ready in the morning. These things really set my feet in a peaceful foundation and it’s a great way to start every day!”
